Christmas........

On Christmas Eve we went to my parent's church house and had our family party.  We all have so much fun getting together and it is nice to be able to meet in the church where there is plenty of room for all the kids to play and run.  We had a very nice dinner, mom did her Christmas story for the kids, we opened gifts, had a violin performance by Lexi, and some kids and adults played some basketball!

We are so lucky to have my Grandpa Spencer (who is 93 years old!) and his wife Laura still with us!  We all love them so much.

Lexi, Amelia and Ashley at the coloring table!!

Lexi playing her violin for us!

Tanner and Jeff listening to the Christmas story!

Brayden's gift from Brad - can you tell that he loves it?!

Here are the kids doing one of their funny poses! They are pretty good sports!

Jeff gave me the 70th anniversary edition of Gone With the Wind!
SOOOOO excited!

Christmas morning Tanner and Lexi had this wonderful idea to wake up at 6am to open gifts before Jeff left for the station!  Well, Ashley set her alarm (bless her little heart!!) and we were up at the butt crack of dawn after going to bed at midnight!!  Needless to say, we were all pretty much zombies.  We really didn't have anything to do besides look in our stockings and watch Brayden and Tanner open two gifts each before returning to bed!  It was horrible.  The girls, Jeff and myself did not get anything to open because we are going on a cruise for our gift.  It was a horrible Christmas morning.  Lexi and I had a hard time with it, but Ashley and Jeff were okay with it.  Anyway, here are a few pictures of our Christmas morning!

Brayden got coveralls - exciting right?!

Ashley got a pair of running shoes that weren't really for Christmas but she had me wrap them!!

We all got new water bottles in our stocking - Very exciting for some of us!

Jeff getting ready to head to the station - bummer!

That's the worst when they have to work Christmas. I'm sorry!
