~Letter from President Bush

Lexi wrote the President and the Governor a letter a while ago about the problems with puppy mills in America. We watched an Oprah episode about puppy mills and Lisa Ling and some guy went in the mills with hidden cameras. The conditions were horrible. Lexi cried and cried. Being such an animal lover it really affected her. I felt so bad for letting her watch it, but the damage was done by then. Well, she took action and wrote letters to the President and Governor asking for laws to be passed so that puppy mills are more regulated. She got a letter back from President Bush yesterday and was sooooo excited! She received a letter, a picture of President Bush, and a picture of Barney (the President's dog!) Lexi really loved the picture of the dog (and his paw print "signature"!)
